QA Engineering Lead – Remote

Job Description

David Schaeffer Engineering Ltd. is looking for an experienced QA Engineering Lead to join our software development team. You’ll be joining a team of software engineers at DSEL that pushes the envelope of innovations in Civil Engineering design.

Our applications are built using C#, .NET framework and AutoCAD’s ObjectARX API. Experience with these technologies is a must.

What you will do

  • Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies for DSEL Subdivision Design Tool Suite
  • Create and champion test standards for development teams
  • Define and implement QA processes to optimize and scale testing within the product family
  • Develop test strategies for business-critical projects to ensure product correctness before launch
  • Partner with engineering teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure the reliability of products
  • Define quality metric and establish
  • Manage staff to achieve QA team objectives

What we are looking for

  • You have an undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science or related field
  • 3+ years of quality Engineering and/or test engineering experience
  • Experience with C#, C++
  • Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation
  • Knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools & automation frameworks
  • Experience with QA process and methodologies
  • Experience in project management approaches, tools and phases of a project life cycle
  • Experience thriving in an ambiguous environment that demands constant self-prioritization
  • You can communicate your ideas clearly in a technical and non-technical manner
  • You enjoy solving and analyzing problems
  • You’re highly motivated, organized and work well independently
